{ Free Pattern } - Donut Hair Accessory

Have nothing to do for 30 minutes?
Try this very quick and simple project.

I made this donut for hair by using left over scrap yarn close to me and my girl’s hair colour.

Choose the yarn for hair colour. 
Chain 28;
Double crochet along and back for 15-16 rows;
Roll it up like a burrito;
whip stitch along and join ends into a donut. That’s it!

Please do not sell this pattern.  It is not for sale.
It used just for your own personal use.

add donut to ponytail and then pin around sides

Angry Birds / Lalaloopsy

Im having a craft paper making frenzy during the school holidays with the kids as they're into Angrybirds and Lalaloopsy at the mo.  Here's what I came up with so far.  Hope you like it:)
I have other Angry bird versions to post up later.

Eco-Friendly Basket

I am loving the trend of using recycled books for craft projects.

This was an interesting and fun way to recycle a used street directory. I used an old Melbourne Street directory I found around the house and weaved it into a waste paper basket or a basket.

 

 Be warned that it takes a really LONG time to cut out all of those pages.
